Craig DeSilva is a graduate of the prestigious Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts where he holds a degree in Speech with a minor in Theater. He studied music from the age of 6, having come from a lineage of musicians. His father was a Billboard charting musician and lead singer for the band "Bobby Silva And The Silvatones". Craig started his career in live theater in Boston and NYC, and eventually continued onto Los Angeles. Moving swiftly into TV in LA, he landed a handful of soap appearances including  "The Young And The Restless", before embarking on what would be a top performer's career in voice over. Simultaneously, Craig garnered success as a musician/songwriter.

 

Craig's current series "Cold Blood" can be seen weekly on the Investigation Discovery Network. He may be best known as The Voice on the Emmy winning hit TV series "The Sopranos" for its full run. Other HBO series, include  "Rome", "The Comeback" with Lisa Kudrow, and the Emmy Winning Hit TV Series  "True Blood" starring Alexander Skarsgard and Anna Paquin. Craig has Narrated over 26 television series including "1000 Places To See Before You Die", "Technomania", and "The Seven Natural Wonders Of The World", to name a few, and has been a premiere narrator for the Discovery Network , National Geographic, Disney, TLC , NBC, Fox, and many others. 

 

He has made a distinctive mark in the world of movie trailers, voicing many Indie films. More recognizable campaigns are the Academy Award winning "Devil Wears Prada" and "Babel", where he had the fortune of working with director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. Inarritu personally requested Craig to double for Brad Pitt's voice in the movie as Pitt was unavailable to cover his own ADR. Craig has also been fortunate to work with Joel Schumacher on "Batman And Robin", and Guss Van Sant on "Good Will Hunting". He has been the brand voice on such advertising campaigns as "Expedia", "Chex Mix", "General Motors", and "Infiniti" amongst many others
